ANODE wins the $500k Listed Tapp-Craig under a gem of a ride by a cheeky Tim Clark.

Evergreen Stud Farm bred and own this tough son of super sire I Am Invincible.

Anode will now head to the Randwick on Champions Stakes day in the Callander-Presnell over 1600m.

Super Infinityt has kicked off his career in Hong Kong with competitive displays each start.

Training by Mark Newham, the Star Witness golding has now had 6 starts in Hong Kong for a record of 6:1-2-1.

Evergreen Owned Anode will contest the Golden Rose this Saturday at Rosehill.

After a close first up 2nd in the Run to the Rose, we are hoping he can go one better this weekend.

Epimeles was a 2023 Gold Coast Magic Millions Graduate and is currently being trained by the Busuttin and Young team at Cranbourne.

Epimeles will be second up into the Guineas Prelude this week after a first up run in the Listed McKenzie at Moonee Valley.  This Dundeel colt showed good promise last start, winning both races he contested, including the Anzac Day Listed Stakes.

The Son of Snitzel has returned in good fashion ready for a 2024 Spring campaign with a first up 3rd over the 900m before the rise to the 1000m with a front running win at Wyong.

Reigning King was a 2022 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale Graduate and more wins look likely install for this 4yr old trained out of Newcastle by Nathan Doyle.

Another win for Kodiak at Pakenham first up, improved his impressive record of 14:4-6-2, having only missed the placings twice in his career.

Out of Flying Artie, Kodiak was just a 2012 Magic Millions graduate, purchased for just 50k by the Freedman team.  An astute purchase who has now returned his owners over 100k in prizemoney to date. 

Kisses for Jody returned to the winners circle with a hard fought win at Canberra.

After a couple of close provincial finishes, the drop in grade proved the trick for her half-owner/trainer Geoffrey Crothers. Kisses for Jody is also owned by another former trainer, Lucy Longmire,

Kisses for Joy was a 2021 Inglis Graduate purchased for 20k.

Tijuana Two Step fired again for her owners, securing his 4th win in just 6 starts to date.

This daughter of Super One was an 2022 Inglis Graduate purchased for just 9k, and she has no returned over 40k for her owners, a very astute purchase by her owners. 

It was an a tenacious win by the little pocket rocket SMASHING ROSIE who just kept finding in heavy conditions at Gosford.

The 2YO Brave Smash filly has kicked off her career beautifully with a 3rd and 1st in two career starts and the future looks very bright.

Smashing Rosie was a Magic Millions 2023 Graduate.

May sees the return of Oz Empress who will contest the Denis Joy Stakes at Scone first up after a couple of trials. After a Listed win in her first preparation, hopes are high of a return to early form.

Super Infinity also looks set to debut in Hong Kong after a couple of nice trials

Chevron spent the earlier part of his career in Black Type races - placing in the Inglis Classic.  As a 3yo he has produced some amazing results, with back to back wins at Randwick and Wyong.

Smiling Prophet also continues with to show form also scoring at Wyong on the same day.

Mega Bonus continues to race in red hot form with another win at Happy Valley, bring his total to 6 wins to date.  The 2019 Gold Coast Yearling Gradaute for just $220k has shown his value to his owners with almost $1m in prisemoneyto date

Anode has hit the track this preparation is tremendous form.

Placing in all three of his starts, he has only missed out by a combined 1.5 lengths in those three starts.

A tough 2nd in the G3 Pago Pago was followed by an unluck 2nd again today in the G3 Baillieu, narrowly edged out by a nose.

With these results, we are sure a deserved victory is just around the corner for the son of I am Invincible

The best maiden in the west is now a C1 and we couldn’t be prouder of QUASIMOTO as he lit up Gundagai. We ticked all of the boxes leading into this must win race and at $1.40 the team were sweating pre-race. The horse did the rest settling on the speed and letting rip with a superior turn of foot.

To the owners of Quasimoto you have been rewarded for your patience.

After contesting big races as a 2 year old - this Evergreen Stud graduate got the win he deserved.

UNCAGED BREAK OUT WIN FOR EVERGREEN

The challengers were honing in on our bold front runner, but UNCAGED wouldn’t be denied as he fought them off stylishly. We have a good record at Kempsey, and with Koby Jennings rating the ride he was always going to be hard to chase.

APACHE STAR was another Evergreen winner who has proved a great buy for his owners, he notched up win number 6 in a Saturday Metro win at Morphetville.

GOLDEN PASSORT returned from a spell and delivered for our team with a maiden win.

Caught in a tough battle to the line, he came away with the win by a neck over Highland Cathedral (who since has won by nine lengths), gapping the rest of the field by three and a half lengths

He has been competitve and without luck since his win, placing in both races since, only missing by a length on each occasion.

Golden Passport is getting better with each start and we look forward to whats ahead.

Argentia is setting her sites on Group Glory in Spring.

Settling into her new home with Joe Pride, Argentia has been competitve in three group starts to date.

After an unluck second in the Group 3 Show County two starts back, Argentia was run down late on the weekend in the Group 2 Theo Marks.

With other targets this Spring - we wish her connections the best as they chase further Group Glory.

Democracy Manifest Continues to reach new heights, taking out the G3 Cameron Handicap at Newcastle.

Tyler Schiller was eyeing an Epsom Handicap ride on Democracy Manifest after he blitzed his Cameron Handicap (1500m) rivals to score a first win in the race for premier trainer Chris Waller.

He put in a great performance in the Epsom, only 1.28L off the winner in 5th.

Nathan Doyle looks to have a handy Snitzel Evergreen Graduate on his hands.

The three year old son of Snitzel was able to get the job done with a lovely front running ride by Jockey Tommy Berry who was able to bring him across nicely from a wide alley and control the tempo in front, before letting down and was unable to be chased down by the his challengers to win by 3/4 length on the line.

He has a lot of upside and is still learning his craft so expect more improvement to come.

It's a great pleasure watching the happy faces of our owners as they celebrate and this half-brother to Converge has plenty more wins in store.

Kodiak was a 20212 Easter Yearling Sale graduate sold for $320k.

Koga Ninja scores on a big day for Morgan.

Koga Ninja broke his maiden at Tamworth today, the first of 6 winners for Cody Morgan on the day.

He has been knocking on the door of late, and got the job done today at Tamworth.

Another Evergreen Graduate, sold at the 2021 Magic Millions Yearling Sale for $40k to Australian Bloodstock.

Kodiak made it back to back wins for Freedman Racing with a dominant win carrying 61.5kg.

Leading most of the way, he had them off the bit in the straight. The win improves his race record to 7:2-5-0, having strung 5 straight seconds before his latest two wins.

Kodiak was a 2021 Magic Millions National Sale sold for $50k

Stonecoat returned from a break with a first up City Win.

With Stonecoat looking beaten at the line, before he fought back up on the line under a power-packed ride from Adam Hyeronimus He's now won 4 of 8 his starts and he's every owner's dream.

Another Evergreen Graduate, sold at the 2021 Magic Millions Yearling Sale for $475k

After graduating from Evergreen Stud at the 2022 Classic Yearling Sales, Cheveron has had a big start to his career so far.

While has is still a Maiden he has contested some big races to date, none more so then tomorrows Gr2 Sires at Eagle Farm.

He heads to Eagle Farm off a career best last start where he just missed going down by a head in the Inglis 2yo challenge.

Magic Phoenix returns to form at Happy Valley, taking ou the C3 Snapdragon handicap.

After a long spell, he has been close without winning in his first two starts from the break

With some race fitness on his side, he held off the late finishes to score by 0.2 lengths

Another Evergreen Graduate Copartner Ambition also was prominent in the race, 1.5 lengths 4th.

Evergreen graduates filled the winning circle this week with Democracy Manifest returning from a spell to come out on top in the last race of the Sydney Autumn carnival.

Divine Sinner broke her maiden 2 days later at start number 4, storming over his rivals at Scone for Team Crockett.

The Waterhouse-Bott team had 2yo filly Oz Empress collecting the win at Warwick farm with a strong front running display

Gai and Adrian won the Group 3 Black Opal with a first up start for Autumn Ballet in dominating fashion.

Autumn Ballet was pre-trained here at Evergreen Stud Farm.

Fresh of a 4.8L win second up at Kembla Grange, This Years headed to the Group 3 Black Opal and finished second behind stablemate Autumn Ballet.

This Years was pre-trained at Evergreen Stud.

Gai and Adrian look to have a handy early 2 year in Coincide. Having had 2 runs last year for a second and now a first up third, Coincide has likely bigger targets in the Autumn.

Coincide was our another one of our graduates from the 2022 Australian Easter Yearling Sale for $320,000.

Coincide is an Invader colt, our of a Shamardal mare, Conversely.

The Magic Millions Sales are over, with greats results for the team, selling 5 of the 6 lots over the reserve at auction. Having just missed the reserve for Lot 170, we are confident he will find an owner soon.

Quasimoto is the Magic Millions bargain basement buy which is owned by "bushies" and is poised to take down the million dollar equine babies.

It would be the fairytale story of Gold Coast Magic Millions time if Dubbo trainer Clint Lundholm, a former jockey, could qualify the $46,000 buy to tangle with the big guns in the $2m Gold Coast Magic Millions Classic on January 14.

Quasimoto put the writing on the wall he could be a serious Magic Millions force when flashing home from last to run second behind the smart Team Snowden colt Sovereign Fund in the Wyong 2YO Classic in mid December.

Quasimoto was a graduate from last years Magic Millions sale, from Evergreen Stud for $46,000.

Democracy Manifest has accumulated quite the race record and cult following over his short career.

Improving his record to 13:5-4-1 and over $263k in prizemoney. After just missing in his last three starts, he broke through for a City win on the 10th December, coming from the back of the field to storm past his rivals and salute by 1.2L.

As 2022 draws to a close, the sales season is about to begin, with the Magic Millions on the Gold Coast kicking off on the 10th January.

MUSSENPHERE headed to Muswellbrook over the 1280m with the talented Exosphere mare exploding past the field with an electric turn of foot from the back half of the field.

Mussenphere was a Evergreen Stud Graduate of the 2019 Easter Yearling Sale, sold to Blueblood Thoroughbreds for $150k

Democracy Manifest is building quite the reputation both on and off the track and it was great to see him return a winner this week at Warwick Farm

Converge will be resuming in the Group 2 $250,000 Tramway Stakes (1400m) at Royal Randwick on Saturday 3rd September

Converge, among a number of high profile Tulloch Lodge gallopers starting their spring campaigns, is already a dual Group 1 winner and did defeat Godolphin superstar Anamoe in the Randwick Guineas earlier this year.

"What I admire about Converge is that he comes up and performs every preparation, every season,'' Waterhouse.

"He has always been so incredibly straight forward, he's an exciting horse.''

"All seems in good order with Converge,'' Bott said.

"He's first-up and has his main targets a while off so there is good improvement to come.

"But he usually races well fresh although he is better second and third-up from a spell.''

Bott confirmed Converge's main aims this spring are the $1.5 million Epsom Handicap (1600m) at Royal Randwick on October 1 and the $10m Golden Eagle (1500m) at Rosehill Gardens on October 29.

With winter coming to an end, and spring fast approaching, our Farm is starting to light up and we look forward to welcoming our new foals in the coming months.

Stonecoat broke his maiden at his first attempt at Scone. This impressive son of Pierro looks to be going places under the guidance of Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott.

Stonecoat is a Bay Gelding out of Pierro x Princess Mia

He is a 2021 Magic Millions Yearling Sale graduate where he was sold for $475,000.

Our final yearlings for the season went under the hammer at Gold Coast in the National Yearling Sale.

Twelve of the fifteen lots that went to sale, met the reserve, with LOT 1569 topping our sale.

A filly, by Lean Mean Machine x Bound to Blush fetched 85k.

Matlock was a very convincing winner at Hawkesbury first up winning easily by just under 4 lengths.

Matlock is a Bay Colt out of Kermadec x Legal Consent.

Matlock was offered for Sale in the 2020 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale and after missing reserve we decided to race him ourselves. This improves his race record to 3:1-0-1

Exempt followed Matlocks win at Ipswich to make it 2 winners in 3 days.

Frankel fever reached the Gold Coast on Friday at the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale, with two colts by the champion Juddmonte stallion selling for a combined A$1.21 million - and both will be retained to race rather than be reoffered for sale as yearlings.

The most expensive of those was the son of 2012 Coolmore Stud Stakes winner Nechita, who was bought by Evergreen Stud’s Tony Bott.

“Whether lightning will strike twice, who knows, but they’ve got another ticket in the lottery. He’s been bought to race unless circumstances change but at this stage he was purchased to race and, with a pedigree like that, if he could win a few races, he’s got some upside as a potential stallion prospect at a later date."

Flying Artie had an interesting winner at Warwick Farm on Monday with talented boy from the bush Democracy Manifest winning his first start for new trainer Chris Waller.

With a win and two seconds for previous trainer Kody Nestor at country tracks, connections elected to give the three year-old his chance in the big smoke and it looks like a good decision.

Democracy Manifesto powered clear to win the 1200m Benchmark 64 event by a length and three-quarters and looks well placed to add to his record now the carnival is over.

Bred by Aaron Bott and Newgate Stallions, Democracy Manifest had been passed-in short of his $25,000 reserve at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale and then sold the next month on Inglis Digital for $11,000.

Gai Waterhouse finally won one of the few Sydney Group 1 races to elude her – and it came exactly 30 years to the day she trained her first winner.

Converge, under a brilliant Tim Clark ride, held off a surging Anamoe to win a thrilling $1m Randwick Guineas (1600m) at Royal Randwick on Saturday.

It was a special moment in Waterhouse’s celebrated training career as it marked the 30th anniversary of her first starter and winner – Gifted Poet at Hawkesbury on March 5, 1992.

Waterhouse, who co-trains with Adrian Bott, wasn’t at Randwick for the Guineas but cheered Converge from her Southern Highlands property.

Converge is owned and bred by Evergreen Stud Farm.
